Some of the obentos I've made.

sweet pea: My days start at about 5 am with me being an acrobat of time management as I prepare obento or Japanese style packed lunches for myself and two sons. It is a love-hate relationship which I have had for many years. Cooking out of necessity is a chore which I have never particularly enjoyed, but in recent years the preparation of meals on a tight budget has been one of the things that has given me a real buzz. The challenge to feed us while keeping to and within numbers, has been the driving force behind me in the kitchen as the sun rises in the Land of the Rising Sun. Now with only a few months left before I 'graduate' from obento making, I'm ready to share some of my efforts. Feast your eyes!!!
